Elizabeth Richardson

Elizabeth Brazzeal Richardson, 103, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 1 at 2 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with Dr. Richard Kremer officiating. Burial at Riverside Cemetery will be private. Contributions may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, 31204 or Magnolia Manor League of Good Samaritans, 2001 S. Lee Street, Americus, GA 31709.

Elizabeth was born in Hawkinsville on June 14, 1914 to the late Henrietta Collins Brazzeal and Charles David Brazzeal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Alston Richardson; grandson, Samuel Lanier Richardson; and brothers, Richard Thomas Brazzeal and Charles David Brazzeal. Elizabeth was a member of Vineville Baptist Church for over 83 years. She was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class, XYZ Senior Adults, and former member of Light Lifters Breakfast Club. Elizabeth was the former secretary and treasurer of Richardson Produce Company for 40 years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Elmo Alston Richardson, Jr. (Linda) of Macon, David Lafayette Richardson (Jackie) of Macon, and Thomas Willoughby Richardson (Mary Jane) of Hinsdale, Illinois. Also, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
