Ellene R. Stutts

MACON – God’s angels surrounded, Ellene R. Stutts on Saturday, January 15, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 24th at Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Alan Benson will officiate. The family will meet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Stutts’ memory to Riverside Animal Hospital, 2121 Riverside Drive, Macon, GA 31204 to be credited to her account for the care of her pets.

Mrs. Stutts, wife of the late Shelton S. Stutts, was born in Jacksonville, FL. She was a graduate of Miller High School and Georgia-Alabama Business College. Mrs. Stutts had worked at Bankers Health and Life Insurance Company and retired from Fickling and Walker. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stutts was a kind, compassionate humanitarian and enjoyed reading, crocheting and sewing at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her joy in life was her love for cats and other pets.

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Stutts and Ellene (Howard) Graves; sister, Lelia R. Powell; Nephews, Tom (Camille) Powell and Raymond Powell; a grandson and her beloved cats, Mousey and Snowflake.
