

Frances “Bebe” Evans Parker, 91, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017. A Celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Wayne Anthony will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Friday at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Liberty United Methodist Church, 6511 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216.
Born, April 10, 1925, in Baldwin County, GA to the late Watt C. Evans and Bertha Chambers Evans, she grew up and was educated there. She graduated from Peabody High School in Milledgeville, GA and attended Converse College, Spartanburg, SC.
Following World War II, she and her husband, Julian T. Parker, Sr., moved from Milledgeville to Macon where she became a long time member of Lynmore United Methodist Church and presently a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Julian T. Parker, Sr., her son, Terry Parker, two sisters, Sara Evans Proctor and Gladys Evans Godard and a brother, Edwin C. Evans, MD.
Survivors include her beloved family, her sons, Julian T. (June) Parker, Jr. of Macon and Gary (Linda) Parker of Juliette; five granddaughters, Susan Parker, Asheville, NC, Kim (Kevin) Raymond, Merritt Island, FL, Stephanie Parker, Atlanta, GA, Stacy (Sam) Renfroe, Byron, GA and Ashley (Trey) Faulk of Gray; great granddaughters, Holly and Kate Raymond, Merritt Island, FL and Madison Renfroe, Byron, GA; great grandsons, Luke and Noah Renfroe of Byron, GA, and Jaxon Faulk of Gray; her special friend, Grace Joiner; and a number of nieces and nephews.
