Frances Cecilia Hutchinson Sharpe

Frances Hutchinson Sharpe, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road with Chaplain Daveida Freeman officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3040 Riverside Drive, Unit B4, Macon GA 31210. Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.

Frances was born in Douglas, Georgia to the late Milford and Ludie Troupe Hutchison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Sharpe. Frances was a member of the Church of God and was retired from American Heritage Life Insurance Company. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her sons, Timmy Sharpe and Jerry Sharpe, four grandchildren, three sisters, Mary Joyner, Joann Hutchinson, Jackie Griswold, four brothers, Jimmy Hutchinson, Billy Hutchinson, David Hutchinson, and Windle Hutchinson and several nieces and nephews.
