

HELEN M. DOYLE MACON – Helen M. Doyle, 92, passed away on Tuesday in a local nursing care facility. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Juliette United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Irwin officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street and suggest that memorial contributions be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 6611 Zebulon Road, Macon 31220. Mrs. Doyle, wife of the late Thomas James Doyle, was born in the Berner Community the daughter of the late W. H. McClelland and Mary Martin Williams McClelland. Living in Tallahassee, Florida for a number of years before returning to Macon in 1979, she was a homemaker and a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. Mrs. Doyle was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Patrick Doyle, Sr., her grandson, Joseph Patrick Doyle, Jr., her sister, Harriette Gory and two brothers, William H. McClelland and Joe McClelland. Survivors include her granddaughter, Rachel Doyle Ridley of Flowery Branch; her sister, Mary (Robert) Jenkins of Macon; several nieces and nephews including Tommy and Maxine McClelland who were her caregivers.
