Henry G. Woodward Jr.

Henry G. Woodward, Jr. -MACON - Henry G. Woodward, Jr., 92, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in a local nursing care facility. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Friday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Dr. Marcus Tripp and the Rev. Jimmy Duke will officiate.

Mr. Woodward, son of the late Henry Grady Woodward, Sr. and Margaret Scott Brown Woodward, was born in Henry County and was a graduate of Jonesboro High School. He was a garage superintendent retired from Georgia Power Company and a member of Macon Exchange Club. Mr. Woodward was a member of Georgia Power Ambassadors and a member of Vineville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn B. Woodward of Macon; his daughters, Margaret (Ken) Bauer of Charlotte, NC and Rebecca (Jim) Schriber of St. Simons Island; his grandchildren, Jay (Connie) DeGrandis, Matthew (JoAnne) Clifford, Meghann (John) Lintner, Elizabeth Schriber and Ray Schriber; seven great grandchildren; his sister, Carolyn Adamson of Ayden, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
