

Jack Edward Bledsoe, 86, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Pine Pointe Hospice. A celebration of his life will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Mr. Danny Linderman will officiate. Visitation with a reception will be held from 10:30 a.m. to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
Mr. Bledsoe was born in Greenville, South Carolina and had lived in Macon most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Mamie Bledsoe, his wife, Jackie Fordham Bledsoe, his sisters, Edna Johnston and Mildred Griffin and his brother, Max Bledsoe.
Mr. Bledsoe was an aircraft/sheet metal mechanic retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Vineville Baptist Church. He and his wife, Jackie were long time members of Southern Trails Camping Group where they became special friends with Ronnie and Dottie Fox and their four-legged companion, Buffie. Jack was also a member of H2U Health Center at Coliseum Med Center.
The family extends their sincere appreciation to his caregivers, Susan Beall and Gary Taylor, and the staff of Pine Pointe Hospice for their professional and gentle care shown to Jack and to all of us during these days.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Bill Bledsoe; sister-in-law, Berta Bledsoe; brother-in-law, Thomas Johnston; much loved nieces and nephews, Robin (Mike) Ethridge, Vickie (Butch) McPherson, Sherry (Danny) Linderman, Pam (John) Barron, Christy (Jeffrey) Hallman, Brenda (Louie) Cheek, James (Danyse) Fordham, Jimmy (Reta Faye) Griffin, Fletcher (Sharron) Griffin, Marie (Grady) Sanders, Susie (Rick) Burton, Edward(Cathy) Griffin and many great nieces and great nephews that he loved as his own.
