
MACON – Jackie Fordham Bledsoe, 77, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Mr. Danny Linderman will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bledsoe, daughter of the late Eddie Martin Fordham and Odie Hall Fordham was born in Milledgeville and had lived in Macon most of her life. She had worked as a teller with SunTrust Bank and attended Vineville Baptist Church. She was a member of Southern Trails Camping Group, a member of Senior Friends and the XYZ Club.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years, Jack E. Bledsoe of Macon; her sister, Jeanette McDaniel of Gray; her sisters-in-law, Berta Bledsoe and Mildred Griffin; her brother-in-law Bill Bledsoe; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.
