Jeanette Williams Lester

Jeanette Williams Lester, 88, died Monday, August 31, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am., Friday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with a Memorial Service at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 5215 Log Cabin Drive with Lars Kortes officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Snow’s on Pio Nono.

Jeanette was born in Vienna, Georgia to the late Hiram and Christine Williams, and was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Paul Lester. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses who dedicated her life June 29, 1948 and served Jehovah faithfully until her death. Jeanette was a very loving and devoted wife, sister and a beloved aunt.

Survivors include her sister, Paula Polk (Jack), niece, Sherry Steuerwald (Larry), nephew, Clyde Willingham (Cindy); nephew, Robert Willingham; niece, Joy Wilkes, niece, Karen Edalgo (Randy); niece, Christy Black (Eric); nephew, Lynn Bledsoe (Catha); niece, Nancy Main (John), niece, Debbie Arnett (Gene), niece, Connie Henry (Tim) and nephew, Ronnie Bledsoe (Angela), as well as many other nieces, nephews, grand and great – grand nieces and nephews.
