Jimmy Lee Cox

Jimmy Lee Cox, age 81, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025. We look forward to seeing family and friends at a Celebration of Life to honor the man who truly knew how to "live" life! Society Beer Garden, 2389 Ingleside Ave., Macon GA on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. a tribute service to begin at 1:30 p.m.

Jimmy was born in Alamo, Georgia to the late Jack Wesley Cox and WIllie Olene Russell Cox. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Frances Cox Snell, Kathleen Cox Langella, Mary Lee Cox Meeks and J.W. Cox. Jimmy was retired from Brown and Williamson after thirty years of service. He was an avid motorcycle rider, enjoyed working on motorcycles and drinking a cold one. Jimmy was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Susan A. Cox of Macon, daughters, Candy (Howard) Weber of Macon, Christy (Derrick) Knight of Macon, grandchildren. Zachary Taylor, Grace Taylor, Christian Knight and Calen Knight, brother, Russell Cox and several nieces and nephews.
