Joseph Norman Benge Sr.

Joseph Norman Benge, Sr., 85, passed away Friday, December 02, 2016 at a local hospital. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with Military Honors and the Rev.Tom Carruth officiating. Burial will be private in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Benge, son of the late Charlie Lee and Alma Vista Adkins Benge, was born in Morley, TN and served with the U. S. Air Force. He was a diesel mechanic retired from Lend Lease Trucking Company. After retirement, he drove cars for several leasing companies. Mr. Benge was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his beloved family, his wife, Kay Benge; two children, Joseph Benge, Jr. and Tammy (Neil) Obenauf; grandchildren, Jason Benge, Leanna (John Henry) Templeton, Jonathan Obenauf and Benjamin Obenauf; several nieces and nephews.
