Kathleen Miles Meeks

BYRON – Kathleen Miles Meeks, 61, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. Dr. C. Michael Blizzard will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church Building Fund, 5399 Hartley Bridge Road, Macon, GA 31216.

Mrs. Meeks, wife of the late Allen DeWitt Meeks, was born in Metter the daughter of the late Solomon and Emma Sue Glen Miles. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, John (Jackie) Meeks of Byron; her beloved grandchildren, Austin, Kalli and Skylar Meeks, all of Byron; her brother, William (Debbie) Miles of Douglasville; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
