

Kathryn Smith White, 86, passed away Sunday at her residence surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Gene Saunders officiating. The family will meet friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. The family asks that those who wish make memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family may be contacted at the residence.
Mrs. White, wife of the late Joseph McKee White, Jr., was born in Sanford, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Charlie W. and Ethel Whitcomb Smith.
She was a graduate of Ochlocknee High School and attended Berry College. Mrs. White was retired from Directorate of Material Management at Robins Air Force Base and had worked with the Purchasing Department of Bibb County for seven years. She was a member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. Smith and a sister, Doris S. Greenway.
Survivors include her son, Joseph M. “Kee” White, III and his wife, Lynda of Warner Robins; two grandsons, Joseph McKee White, IV and his wife, Erin of Bonaire and William Anderson “Andy” White and his wife, Diana of Norcross; four great grandchildren, Chloe, Jay, Drew and Anderson; sisters-in-law, Eloise W. Lord and Jean W. Kliese, both of Macon; several nieces and nephews .
