

Keith E. Grinstead, 87, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The Rev. Mark Magoni will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Grinstead, son of the late Sarah Branham and Cleabourne Edward Grinstead, was born in Orlando, FL. He served in the U. S. Army and had lived in Middle Georgia since 1951. He was a member of Mickey Fuller Lodge No. 720, Scottish Rite Bodies and Al Sihah Shrine Temple. Mr. Grinstead was a knowledgeable automobile mechanic and was owner and operator of Grinstead’s Garage until his retirement. He attended Friendship Baptist Church, Lake Sinclair.
Survivors include the family he cherished, his wife of sixty-six years, Faye ; his son, David Grinstead (Diane); his daughter, Jo Towson (Lin); grandchildren Bobby Grinstead (Cassandra) Kevin Grinstead (Stephanie), Brad Towson (Keely), Jennifer Mobley (Terry) and Joy Booth (Josh); great grandchildren Austin Grinstead, Kriston Grinstead, Tyler Grinstead, Blake Towson, Aubrey Towson, Tony Bowden, Ali Bowden, Max Mobley, Caden Hodge, Riggs Booth and Evie Booth; a great-great grandchild, Ava Bowden; two brothers, Ronnie Grinstead (Christine) and Frank Grinstead (Beverly) and several nieces and nephews.
