Lena P. Pierce

Lena Pennington Pierce, 100, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Neal Wall and Dr. Aubrey Sheats will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pierce was born in Wilkinson County, Georgia and had lived in Middle Georgia for most of her life. She was retired from Bibb Manufacturing and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Mrs. Pierce was the widow of Lewis Pierce.

Mrs. Pierce is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Edith Pierce of Macon; grandchildren, Delisa Kyzer of Macon, Paul Pierce of Atlanta, Holly Drazny of Macon; 7 great-grandchildren; niece, Raynelle Bloodworth of Milledgeville.
