

Linda Kay Liles Gordon, 64, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday in Riverside Cemetery, Madison Street entrance with the Rev. Monty Febuary officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. They may be contacted at the home of Melissa and Chuck Harvell.
Mrs. Gordon, a lifelong resident of Macon, was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E. Liles and Mary Leon Roquemore Liles and by her brothers, Larry Liles and Mikell Liles. She was an Executive Assistant retired from Merrill-Lynch and was a member of Mulberry United Methodist Church.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed by those she loved most, her husband, Thursley Gordon of Macon; her children, Melissa Kay (Chuck) Harvell of Macon and Heather A. (Barry) White of Bolingbroke; her grandchildren, Zachary T. White and Allison E. White of Bolingbroke, Dustin (Autumn) Harvell and Amber (Josh) Owens, all of Macon; her great grandchildren, Hallie Owens and C. J. Harvell, both of Macon and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff at Coliseum Northside Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care during Mrs. Gordon’s illness.
