Mack Wallace Lawson

MAUK – Mack Wallace Lawson, 83, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Pat Williamson will officiate. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lawson was born in Dublin and was a self employed general contractor. He was a member of County Road Forty-Five Tabernacle. Mr. Lawson was the father of the late Eddie Franklin Lawson and Jimmy Lawson.

Survivors include his wife. Reva C. Lawson of Mauk; his children, James Wallace (Judy) Lawson, Hillis Mitchell (Vickie) Lawson, Jenelda Pearl (Billy) Wood, Angelian Christine (Floyd) Malone, Essie Lucille (Leo) Flair, Diann Smallwood, Connie Smallwood, Dearl Lawson, Wayne Lawson, Tommie Rodgers Lawson and Frances Lawson; his brother and sisters, Lois (J.C.) Crowley, Jake Bell, Gloria Jean (John) Coleman, Edna Pearl (Frank) Miller and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
