Madelyn Raley Grovenstein of Forsyth, passed away on January 1, 2022 after a lengthy illness. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Snow’s Memorial Chapel-Cherry Street with Father Scott Winchel officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.
She was born on October 30, 1950 in Macon, GA to the late Romus E. and Charlotte B. Raley. Madelyn attended A.L. Miller High School and retired from Anderson, Walker & Reichert after many years of service.
She dearly loved her family and friends. Gardening and animals were her passions too.
Madelyn is survived by husband, Bill Grovenstein; daughters, Kelly (Joel) Ross of Macon and Holly (Ken) Kenly of Snyder, TX; sisters, Gwynell (Lou) Davis of Macon and Charlotte (Richard) Katz of Sun Lakes, AZ; grandchildren, Will (Courtney) Stanford of Hubert, NC, Matt (Sama) Stanford of Clearwater, FL, Kaeli (Tyler) Sharpe of Macon, Zach Grovenstein of Forsyth, GA and Kenneth Kenly of Snyder, TX; great granddaughter, Amelia Sharpe of Macon, GA; brothers-law, Bob (Laura) Grovenstein of Ben Wheeler, TX and Tom Grovenstein of Statesboro, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you to Nurses Jody Maddox and Lisa Fountain and aide Quala Burnette for their excellent care.
