Mary G. Cramer

Mary G. Cramer, 72, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 14. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19 at Glen Haven Mausoleum at 2 p.m. with Father Vernon Knight officiating. The family will greet friends at 1 p.m. at the Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon 31201.

Mary was born in Harlem, Georgia to Gladys Hayes Maddox and the late Andrew Jackson Laster, Sr. She was raised in Augusta and was married in 1956 to the Norman Levie Burgamy of Augusta and moved to Macon in 1971. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Lynne Burgamy; husband, Dr. Robert J. Cramer; her sister, Bobbye Jean Howard. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart in Milledgeville and St. Joseph in Macon.

Survivors include her daughters, Phylliss B. Little (Randy) and Denise B. Richardson; three grandchildren, David Q. Greene, Jr., Mark Perkins, Jr. (Jessica) and Corey L. Perkins (Sara), three great-grandchildren, Zoe M. and Trey Perkins and Kaitlin Fincher; her mother, Gladys Hayes Maddox; siblings, Patsy Reese (Hugh), A. J. Laster (Judy), Marjorie Laster, Timothy A. Laster, David R. Laster; and seven step-children, Susan C. Herring (Wade), Joseph C. Cramer (Patti), Timothy C. Cramer (Judy), John Michael Cramer, Robert J. Cramer, Jr., Christopher J. Cramer (Ginger) and Jeffery A. Cramer (Linda).
