

Mary Etta Collins Sapp passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Larry Partain and the Rev. Curtis Scott will officiate. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. They ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Houston Heights Baptist Church, 4439 Tech Drive, Macon, GA 31206.
Mrs. Sapp, daughter of the late Joel C. Collins and Sybil Collins Todd, was a resident of Macon for over fifty years and a graduate of Dudley High School, Dudley, GA. She was a bookkeeper retired from Willingham Sash and Door Company.
Mrs. Sapp was a member of Houston Heights Baptist Church where she was a member of Faith Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, two brothers, Joel P. Collins and Cecil F. Collins and three sisters, Helen Green, Marion Hinson and Runette Bostick.
She is survived by her stepson, Thomas “Buddy” Sapp; brother, Gerald Collins; sisters, Janice (Earl) Thompson and Dorothy Drigggers and several nieces and nephews.
