Maxine Fellows Brown

Mrs. Maxine Fellows Brown, 87, died Wednesday morning, July 20, 2016. A visitation will be held at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 3077 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, GA, on Friday, July 22, from 6 until 8 o’clock. Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock, Saturday, July 23, at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue and burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests to those who wish that memorial contributions be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.

Mrs. Brown was born in Dodge County, Georgia to the late Lonnie and Maggie Scarborough Fellows. She had lived in Macon since 1948 and was a member of Christ Chapel Macon. Mrs. Brown was the last of 10 children to Lonnie and Maggie. She was a loving mother who always made her family a priority. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald M. Brown, in 2002.

Survivors include her son, Steve (Patricia) Brown; daughter, Debra Jones; granddaughters, Amanda (Doug) Varnum, Brittany (Josh) Brantley; great grandchildren, Reed Varnum and Maddie Varnum.
