Melinda D. Lindsey, 46, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. A memorial service and a celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with the Rev. Wayne Poole officiating.
Melinda, a lifelong resident of Macon, was a dialysis technician with RAI and was a licensed insurance agent. She was preceded in death her father, Robert B. Dixon and her brother, Robert Scott Dixon. Melinda, above all, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, great granddaughter and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Lindsey; sons, Jason Tyler Lindsey and Hunter Lindsey; mother, Sue Dixon; grandchildren, Athena Lindsey and Marina Lindsey; grandmother, Janie “Mama” Hattaway.
