Melissa Glennean Day Grossman, 65, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Father John Johnson will officiate. The family will greet friends on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Middle Georgia Art Association, 2330 Ingleside Ave., Macon GA 31204.
Glennean was born in Dalton, Georgia to the late Harold and Wilma Cline Day. She was preceded in death by her son, Geoffrey Grossman, and her brother, Kevin Day. Glennean was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was the treasurer of the Middle Georgia Art Association. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Glenn Grossman of Macon, son, Brett (Lauren) Grossman of Buckhead, mother-in-law, Joan A. Grossman of Peachtree Corners, sister-in-laws, Carol (Ron) Cortopassi of Charlotte, and Janice Steege of Marietta, and several nieces and nephews.
