Mildred M. Pritchard, 96, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. John Wright officiating. The rosary will be said on Monday, July 2 at 6 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. The family will greet friends following the rosary. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mildred was born in Macon to the late Dominga Martin and Emma Lee Causey Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Pritchard; son, Charles “Rocky” Pritchard; grandson, Chad Pritchard; brother, Emory; and sisters, Ruth, Ethel, Rose and Marie. Mildred was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She graduated from Mt. deSales Academy and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mildred was active with the Council of Catholic Women, Cancer Pad Group and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Beverly Thurston, Steve (Susan) Pritchard, David Pritchard; daughter-in-law, Melissa Pritchard; grandchildren, Stephanie Thurston, Michelle Thurston, Christy Chambers, Mary Burns, Matthew Pritchard, Roxanne Faulkner, Millie Pritchard and Amanda Pritchard; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Jesse, Ellie, Ethan, Zane, and Kelly; brother, David (Joyce) Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
