Nancy Lester Fontenot

The Vigil service will be said at 5:00 PM Wednesday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, with a visitation following. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Father John Wright will officiate.

Ms. Fontenot was born in Cuba, NY the daughter of the late Aileen Hamilton Lester and John Quincy Lester and was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda M. Malphurs. She was retired from Navicent Health and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ms. Fontenot is survived by her daughters, Shannon Atkinson (Bruce) and Maranda Allen; two brothers, Raymond J. LesterSmith of Palatka, FL, and Alan D. Lester (Candy) of Fernandina Beach, FL;. grandchildren, Vincent Giordano formerly of Macon, Victoria Shaver (David) formerly of Macon, Spencer Taylor of Macon; nephew and nieces in Jacksonville, FL
