Patricia Ann Hobbs, 67, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in a local hospital. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff Shelton officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
Patricia was born in Macon and lived all of her life here. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Hobbs and her parents, Lula Mae Lockwood Johnson and James C. Johnson. She had worked as a waitress at Ryans Restaurant and was presently retired.
Patricia is survived by her children, James Flewellyn, Sara Flewellyn Smith, Teresa Ann Dixon, and Charles Russell Clarke; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; siblings, James Corbett Johnson, Jr., Nancy Shelton, George Johnson, Benny Ray Johnson, Freddy Johnson and Diane Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
