

Pauline Hammock Horton, 84, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday in the Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Rev. Paul Dziadul will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
Mrs. Horton was born in Macon, the daughter of the late Paul and Geneva Hunnicutt Hammock. She was retired from the Bibb County Tax Assessors Office in Commercial Property and was a volunteer with the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Mrs. Horton was a member of Vineville Baptist Church, where she also taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Cox.
Mrs. Horton is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Rowley of Macon; nieces, Katrina Stidham of Shawnee, OK and Kelly Thistlewood of Macon.
