A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with visitation following. Pastor Billy Flowers will officiate. In lieu of flowers love offerings may be made to The Church of God of Prophecy, 6055 Houston Road, Macon 31216. Burial will be at a later date in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Mrs. White was born in Waterloo, Alabama the daughter of the late Cora Lee Landrum Hancock and Jerome Clarkston Hancock. She was the widow of Marion White and was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Murphy and brother, Jerry Hancock. She was a homemaker and very industrious lady and held many jobs throughout her life. Mrs. White was not one to remain idle. She was a self-taught seamstress and designed many clothes for family and friends.
Mrs. White is survived by her sons, Roger White (Susan) and Gary White (Leah); 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren where she was known to them as Grandma and Nana; sisters, Christine Clanton of Buchanaan, MI and Kathleen Dudeck of LaPorte, IN; several nieces & nephews.
