

Randy Pelt, 63, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services and a celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Woods and the Rev. Frankie Sorrow officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.
Mr. Pelt, son of the late James R. and Emma Meadows Pelt, was a lifelong resident of Macon. He was retired as a private investigator and attended Calvary Community Chapel. Mr. Pelt was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Whitley Ussery. He loved God, his family, his dog Cricket, hunting, fishing, boxing,
diet coke and going to the mountains.
He is survived by those he loved most, his wife Wanda “Cookie” Pelt; four children, Kristy (Kevin) Williams, Tina (Daniel) Dixon, Chip (Donna) Anderson and Terri (Jared) Cain; six grandchildren Heather Dixon, Caleb Williams, Kyle (Madison) Dixon, Mashay (Austin) Dixon, Madison Powell and Seth Williams; three great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Freddie (Sharon) Pelt, Carl (Paula) Pelt, Danny (Neva) Pelt, Ricky Pelt, Mark (Becky) Pelt and Janie (Jimmy) Ryals; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
