

RAY HEARRELL HILLIARDMACON – Ray Hilliard, 69, went to be with his Lord Friday, December 4, 2009, at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM, at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with Reverend Brian Everett officiating. The service will be private for family only. Mr. Hilliard was born on October 8, 1940 in McMinnville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Wiley Blount Hilliard and Ella Lee Christian Hilliard. He was a graduate of Hueytown High School in Hueytown, Alabama. He resided in Macon since 1979. He worked for RJ Reynolds for thirty one years and retired as a division manager. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama. Mr. Hilliard is survived by his wife, Barbara Bloomingburg Hilliard, one daughter, Sandra Hilliard (Joey) McHugh of Macon, two sons, Ray Harrell (Kristie) Hilliard of Macon, Lance Wesley (Elizabeth) Hilliard of Macon, and six grandchildren, Brett McHugh, Jake Hilliard, Susannah Hilliard, Anna Hilliard, Sarah Hilliard, and Brady McHugh, two sisters, Thelma (Ed) Vanderburg of Hoover, Alabama, Jackie Lynn (Keith) Hadaway of Hueytown, Alabama, and several nieces and nephews.
