Rose Gainey Coursey, 95, formerly of Macon, passed away Thursday. Graveside services will be held at 3P.M., Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Riverside Cemetery, North Gate with the Rev. Ben Taylor officiating. The family will meet friends from 2:00 P.M. to service time at the gravesite. They suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Christ, 511 High Place, Macon, GA 31201. -Mrs. Coursey, wife of the late William Shirley Coursey, was born in Fayetteville, NC the daughter of the late James Loraine Gainey and Rose Doughty Gainey. She was a devoted homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Christ of Christ, Macon.
Survivors include her beloved family, Susan Underwood of Andalusia, AL, William "Bill" S. Coursey, III of Lynchburg, VA , James "Jim" Coursey of Marietta, GA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
