Ruth Burke Kitchens

Ruth Burke Kitchens, 90, went to be with her Savior on Friday, December 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 on Monday, December 30, 2013 in the Chapel of Ingleside Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Hudgins. Interment will be private in Baptist Gospel Mission Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Mrs. Kitchens was born in Millen, Georgia to the late Sidney Johnson Burke and Francis Bartholomew Burke and was the widow of Jere Kitchens. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Kitchens is survived by her daughter: Syldia Kitchens McNeal of Macon; son: Mike (Judi) Kitchens of Birmingham, AL, grandchildren: Jarrett (Diedra) Kitchens of Pleasant Groove, AL, Madi McNeal of Macon, Patrick (Amy) McCarty and J.D. (Alisha) Deems both of Alabama; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
