

Macon- Timothy John Miller, 44, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Rose Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Ron Holland officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Central Georgia, 858 High Street, Macon 31201.
Mr. Miller was born in Lake Harris, New Jersey to Carol Rizzo and the Late Douglas Patrick Miller. He was a Commercial Realtor with Southern Pines Plantation for the last 8 years. Tim was a veteran in the U.S. Navy having served on the USS Hepburn, Boatswain Mate Second Class, in the Gulf War and a member of the V.F.W. Lodge 658. Tim also served as a Professional Qualified Firefighter, NPQ-FF1, the first in Georgia, with the Augusta Fire Department, Engine Company 8.
Tim is survived by his wife: Lori Miller of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, three Daughters: Maggie Miller of Buford, Jourdan Miller of Macon and Morgan Miller of Macon, and his Mother; Carol Rizzo of Tampa, Florida, three Sisters: Lisa Cataldo of Norwell, MA, Louise Miller of Boston, MA and Brenda Holmes of San Francisco, CA
