Ann,  So sorry to hear about Commodore Holbert's passing.  He was such a great Commanding Officer while I was stationed in Macon.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

My sincere condolences to Ann and the entire Holbert family. "Dutch" was a great guy and will always be remembered as one of the greatest COs of the "Doer Birds". Just a top notch individual and we'll always remember him.  Thank you "Dutch" and Ann for being there for all of us at VT-2. Our prayers are with you. My condolences to Warren's wife and family. Warren Lee, you always said the two names together, was a positive person and always had a smile on his face. I regret not looking him up later in life.Warren Lee was one of my best buddies growing up in Bellpoint. We spent many hours together some rememberable things were: sleeping out in the cabin that " Dutch" help build, playing basket ball at Bellpoint school, swimming on the island, playing football in the triangle park, and hanging out at his house watching sports on TV.I also bought a 1953 Ford convertible from him. The strange thing that I remember the most was showing up for the school bus and both had a cast on the same arm, He broke his playing foot ball and I broke mine at school. Am so sorry to learn of Warren's death.  As a member of the Class of '59, I am so thankful he was at our 50th reunion and that we 59ers could enjoy his company.    This is  a  good reason to attend class reunions.

Warren and I went all through high school, played football and baseball together, and also were housemates at WVU.   
It was wonderful seeing him again at our high school reunion at Pipestem in 2009, and also to meet and hike with you.
