Constance M. Bailey, age 85, wife of the late Richard L. Bailey, passed away on July 9, 2015. She was born on March 5, 1930 in New Britain, CT, the daughter of the late Leocadia (Sienkowski) Monkiewicz and Boleslaus Joseph Monkiewicz. She attended and graduated from New Britain High School and was employed by the telephone company. Constance resided in Madison for 50 years. She was a devoted and active member of the St. Margaret Church in Madison as well as a member of the Friends of Hammonasset. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Bailey Vernon and son in-law James H. Vernon, and her two grandchildren; Andrew and Heather Vernon. A church service will be held on August 1st at St. Margaret Church in Madison at 9am with a burial following at the West Cemetery, in Madison as well.
