Colanton, Daniel, 61, of Madison, Connecticut, formerly of Billerica, MA died suddenly on October 7. Daniel was the beloved husband of Dorothy Gavin Colanton (nee Duggan). He was the loving father of Anya and Daniel Colanton of Billerica, MA, caring brother of Kathleen Colanton of Orlando, FLA, and Mari Poland of Ft. Meyers, FL, Son of the late Daniel and Norma Colanton of Brookline, MA. Dan is also survived by Christopher and Jaimee Gavin and their son Jake, Shawn and Sarrah Gavin, and Brian Gavin of all of Madison and his dear friend Frank Cimeno of Hyannis, MA.
Dan grew up in Brookline, MA and graduated from Bentley University. A master electrician, for the past twelve years Dan was employed by the town of Wilmington, MA.
Calling hours will be Friday, October 10, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and a service will be held on Saturday morning at 9AM both at the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT. Burial will take place at the West Cemetery in Madison.
