Davin came to my home for daycare. I remember the time we were having a snow  storm and his dad came to pick him up early. I woke him up from his nap and went to get his shoes from the rug in the kitchen. There was only one of his shoes. I asked him where the other shoe was, he said he didn't know. So his dad and I went through the toy boxes, looked under the bunk bed, in the foyer, the bathroom even the garbage. While he watched us. It was snowing and they had a long steep  driveway, so they had to  park at the bottom and walk up before it was plowed. So Mickey was going to have to carry him all the way up his driveway. That night I was changing the sheets and out fell his shoe from the pillow case. The next day when I told Davin I found his shoe, he gave me that silly smile, with his smiling sparkling eyes and that laugh of his. He obviously had put it there. This is my memory of Davin and every time I think of it, it makes me laugh.

Davin. All I can say is for the short several years I had the privilege of knowing you, you were never not smiling. Your laughter was contagious and you had a heart of gold. What I wouldn’t do for one more night on your patio with you, Travis, Dave and I. Laughing about anything and everything. Till we meet again my friend. Godspeed ❤️

With love to his family -  my first memory of a “very young” Davin was him eating a stick of butter like a popsicle before dawn one Sunday morning before I married into his extended family. I think he may have fallen down the stairs while eating that “butter pop” and woke me up sleeping on couch. Cute - head of blond hair - big smile - lovely first memory.  

As I get ready to roll towards CT this morning - I am again struck by the difficult truth of this day and that in many cases all we have in the end is our family (as you choose to define). Blessings and peace to Davin and the Faulkner’s .

Rest In Peace Davin. So many great memories shared with you, at the Cloverleaf and around town. You were a one of a kind guy, always making others smile. I’ll always remember that laugh ❤️

I will never forget when you bet bet Russ a plant was poison ivy when he thought it was not. You were right and he was covered in poison ivy. Honestly you are one to be remembered. Thanks for all the good times Davin, I really appreciate you. 

Davin was a very kind and respectful soul. I had the pleasure of many interesting and thoughtful conversations over many years in Haddam and Killingworth with  Davin. I am so saddened to hear of his passing and wish him God speed. My sympathies to his family. He was a sweet and special person.

I will miss seeing you around Dav. We had many good hours watching the clock together at the cloverleaf.  Growing up with you was a good time, and there was always a good laugh. Rest easy my friend, you will be missed by all.
