

Joseph Pasquale Scarpace, 83, of Branford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026. Born on May 30, 1942, in New Haven, Connecticut, Joseph grew up in North Haven and later made his home in Branford.
Joseph earned his master’s degree in economics from the University of Connecticut in 1965. He went on to build a successful career as an executive in the manufacturing industry, where he was respected for his leadership, integrity, and dedication.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Josephine (DeFilio) Scarpace, and his beloved son, David Scarpace.
Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Linda (Brandolini) Scarpace; his son, Jeffrey Scarpace (Kristine); and his cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, and Brennan, his brother Anthony Scarpace (Deborah), his sister Anita Pantalena (John), along with many nieces and nephews.
Joe will be remembered for his generous spirit and his willingness to help anyone, anywhere, at any time. His kindness and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, May 6, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, Connecticut. All other services will be held privately with immediate family. The family appreciates your understanding and respect for their privacy during this time.
