Margaret Craig

Margaret Craig, age 88, of Killingworth passed away on March 20, 2015, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Wallace Craig. She was born on August 8, 1926, in Nuremberg, Germany, to the late Johann and Margaret (Trapp) Paulus. As her career she was a bookkeeper for many companies in New York and Connecticut. She was an avid non-fiction reader. She loved to travel, especially taking cruises. In the later part of her life she took up golf, but most of all she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. She had a great gift of embracing life and those around her. She is survived by a daughter Margaret Doolittle and her husband George of Madison, and a grandson Craig Doolittle of Arizona. Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, Saturday, March 28, from 11-12am, with services starting at 12pm.
