Barbara Lou Godsey, 86, passed on April 4, 2026. She was born on January 1st, 1940, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Louis and Essie Graham.

Barbara was a beloved mother to Brenda (Todd) Paye and Brian (the late Sandy) Godsey; a cherished Grandma to Sarah (Stephen) Petrie, Graham (Mary) Paye, Emily Paye, Rebecca Paye, Sam (Brooke) Paye, Jason (Brianna) Godsey, Courtney Godsey and Sean Godsey along with 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; she is also survived by her ex-husband and dearest friend William Godsey.

A Visitation will be held at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071, on April 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Barbara will be laid to rest at Maplelawn Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky.
