So sorry for your loss, Josh. I can hardly imagine what you and your family are going through right now.

While I mostly knew Dani in middle and high school, I remember how nice and fun she was as a person. In fact I can't recall a single instance where I heard her say something bad, or be mean to someone, and I respect her greatly for that. I'll always remember her as a kind person who enjoyed life while she was here. She was a lovely and vibrant person who will be greatly missed in this world. Josh know that I'm thinking about you and your two beautiful children who I know will help carry on Dani's wonderful spirit. 

Dani was a beloved friend and inspiration. She went out of her way to connect with me and make me feel included while being out of state. She went out of her way to walk with me on breaks and build our friendship. I will cherish the conversations we had under the guise of book club.  Even if only the two of us showed, we would share our opinion on the read and it would quickly turn into a hour long discussion and catch up with my friend. I sincerely looked forward to our conversations  every time. We made plans for things to do upon my return and it breaks my heart that they will not come to fruition. She led by example in her compassion and honesty and truly showed what it meant to be present. She made you feel heard and cared for while standing up for her own beliefs without compromising her morals. Dani showed the good in this world by being herself and never thought it was any big deal. I am here to say it was. Her acts and words, however small they seemed to her, made an impact of goodness and love. She will be with us always as the ripples she created will go on. To one truly fierce, loving, loyal, funny, generous, and truly beautiful person...love you Dani. <3 and love and comfort to you Josh, Willow, and Rory. <3

Dear Josh, Willow, and Rory,
I am so sorry for your loss. My Family and I have you all in our prayers. May God bless you and look over you in this time of need.

Josh, Very few people are lucky enough to find a soul mate, but you and Danni did. Cherish you time together and know she lives on through Willow And Rory. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

     Dani was the best of us.    She truly understood how to live life through loving compassion.    That the true magic is not in the big things or the flashy things, but in the small things, the everyday things.  But most of all through the act of being present.   
     From the brave college woman organizing and forming community that I met years ago; to her cherished role as wife and mother; to her continued community leadership; and to her final role as a life-donor so that others may live, she truly lived a life of meaning.   
    The world is a little darker without her, especially in these early days of her passing.   When I look upon the setting sun, as day transitions to night, I know that she is still here in our hearts.
