Den-we have your picture in our great room so you're thought about everyday.  We are so sad that we missed our annual camping trip and we think of you everytime we snag a turtle. Oh Denwad! We became so close these last couple months. I will miss you! We were each others first loves. I think we got that back at the end. I will always love you. I promise to take good care of our kids as long as you watch over us & help to guide our children in the right direction. This weekend has been a tough one....cleaning and packing up the house has brought back so many great memories. Everything I look at has a great memory behind it or a laugh. We sure did alot of that. I must admit even though we were divorced we were always still very close. We were commended on how well we did together and with our children. You were a great dad! That will never change. Our children will never forget you and neither will I. I love you Denwad!

It was the summer of 1985 when I first met the Riley brothers, when they came to visit Steve in Virginia Beach.  We all went to Bush Gardens and had a blast together.  I knew then what a wonderful, fun loving and close family the Riley's were and looked forward with great anticipation to being a part of the family. Denny had a head full of curly blonde hair, and a smile that made his eyes twinkle and his laugh was, oh so contagious! He brought so much joy to every occasion and enriched all of our lives. I will miss him soooo very much.  I see my sweet brother walking with Jesus now, laughing and enjoying eternity!!! .... XOXOXO to all of my precious family, I love you all.

You are loved and missed, my cousin. I'll not forget all the good times and laughs we shared. You had that rare and unique personality that could light up a room by your mere presence! We were a blessing to my life.  You were a genuine Uncle to my Sydney and a true friend to my husband David.  I will forever remember celebrating Christmas Eve at Kensington Church and munchies afterwards at our home. We have so many wonderful camping memories with you, Mitch, and Shanny and we will forever remain role models to your children.  We love you Dennis Riley!  Until we meet again in heaven our dear friend.  Forever loved and never forgotten.

Went to my daughter's softball game. My wife noticed a "Riley" on the other team. She told me I bet that is Shanny. We looked around the park to see if Denny or Julie were there. Didn't see them. My wife insisted it had to be her. Who do I see coming in from sitting in the outfield area. My cousin Denny and Julie. Of course every reunion with Denny was hugs and kisses and bantor. Always loved to run in to him.! So he shouts to Shanny that my daughter, Ava, her opponent, is her cousin. She tells her team " Hey that's my cousin!' There was some pride in that statement!That was the last time I saw Denny. Today,with love to Denny, I say, 'Hey that's my cousin!!!!!!"

I don't think on Sunday I wil be able to stand up and speak. So this is what comes from my heart tonight. 25 years ago God sent me to this wonderful family. One never knows the path that he has in store for us, but for me I love the path he has chosen this far. Not only was I given a great family, but in Denny I found a true friend, a great brother, a man that would be there for you at any time of day or night, A man that was all about family and LOVE !! He did his best to try and make sure everyone was having a good time, He loved everyone ! And we all loved him! I will miss you everyday Denny ! I love you and Thank You for being part of my life !

Although I do not remember meeting you.  Knowing you.  I did graduate with your older brother, Dwayne.  Was at a few parties at your house...back in the day.  And, I loved playing the games with Coleen at Facebook.  

Really sad to read this news.  Obviously, you were way too young to go.

However, I think your siblings our blessed to have you looking down on them.  You can be a GREAT angel.  That is my hope for you, your immediate family.  As well as anyone that has had the honor of knowing you.  Loving you.
