Dolores was a beacon of love and warmth, with a heart that overflowed with affection for her family. She found immense joy in spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, with whom she shared countless memories and stories she held dear to her heart.
Her passion for cooking, particularly Polish cuisine, was unmatched. Dolores took great pride in her Polish heritage infusing every dish with tradition and love. She was renowned for her culinary skills, and her family will forever treasure the flavors she brought to their lives. After a great meal she didn't mind showing off her Polka dancing skills. In her leisure time Dolores found joy in working on crossword puzzles, which eased her mind and gave her time to relax.
Dolores's love knew no bounds, and her devotion to her husband was a testament to the strength of their bond. Together they shared 73 beautiful years of marriage before his passing in 2020. Their love story continues to inspire all who knew them. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Dolores was a beloved wife to her late husband, Stanley F. Pietrzak, a cherished mother to the late Maryann Pietrzak, Judith (the late Edward) Quinn, Linda (Mark) Dear, the late Antonette (Mike) Nelson, the late Charlotte, Nancy Gosselin, and Stan Pietrzak, a loving grandmother to Morris III, Marleen, Ed, Michael, Katie, Stephanie, Rachael, Allyssa, Angela, & Tyler along with 13 Great Grandchildren.
A Visitation for Dolores will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
She will be in state Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 9:30 AM up until her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 28353 Herbert St, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
Dolores will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donation be made to Adored Living Senior Care Home. The care that Dolores received here was impeccable, and the family wants to thank each member of the staff from the bottom of their hearts for the care Dolores received.
