Bert was a friend to all and a good man who had many talents.
He remained sharp as a tack and showed much grace through difficult times. So many lives were touched by Bert,including mine.

My favorite memory was sitting on an engine helping you rebuild it , after we were done you took the time to have  tea time in the back of your truck ! You are forever in my heart  I love you Dad ! 

I have been so blessed to have you in my life for 56 yrs. I’m going to miss you so much grandpa! You were the most cheerful, strong, busy as a bee person I’ve ever known. I’m going to miss your smile and the twinkle in your eyes. Fly high grandpa, love and miss you dearly!!

You were the absolute best and taught me so much about shared once but I loved how u always kept pushing even on days that you should have been resting too

Words can’t describe how thankful I am to of known of you and to be part of such an amazing family , I’m gonna miss our up north trips and are conversations I love to you to pieces papa 


Papa was the most amazing and outgoing and caring person I ever seen in my life . In 7 years he has taught me so much and helped me so much. He taught me kindness and self respect and how to be better . But most of all he wrapped his loving hands around my kids no matter if they were mean or screaming or crying papa was there to try to help me comfort them or to just play with them :( I am heartbroken in so many ways that my life and holidays won't be the same without papa .. he loved and cared about all but u are gone but never forgotten now spread ur wings and fly and Rest In Peace papa we love u 

My wonderful loving grandfather! I’ve never known a life with out you in it! You will be terribly missed by so many, my heart will always carry a piece of you with it!! Rest peacefully Gramps … I love you!
