Lila, I was very sad to hear of Jim's passing.  My last memory of him will be one of laughter and fun we had at the casino.  I will remember his keen sense of humor, and his service to our country and his love of family. Hope to see you again, God grant you  peace.  Rick Semon

 We are very sorry for the sad news of the passing of Jim, your husband and father and our American cousin. Although there are many miles between our families you are near in our thoughts and prayers. We all hold our own memories of Jim. My personal memories are staying with him at the cottage on lake, sitting with him on the swing, cooking lobster and the list goes on.My dad can tell many stories of Jim and does so quite often.
  I'm sure the memory of Jim will live on in all of us and comfort you in the time ahead.

Rochelle - just want you to know I am here for you during this difficult time.  Your dad was very dear to me - always kind, compassionate and always thought of everyone else before himself.  He was one of the most positive people I have ever met.  I was blessed to have known your dad in my lifetime.  We had so many great times - wonderful memories that will forever be with us.  He's in a better place now and will live on forever.  God bless you Jim.

Jim was always a friend to the whole neighborhood, there was not anyone that "Mr. Richards" was not nice to. He was always smiling and happy. He was a true FREE Spirit. Jim loved kids, and was like a second father to all of us as we grew up, he will never be forgotten, but will be missed a lot.

To our cousins across the pond. The pain you must be feeling is understood so well. A PRECIOUS person that was loved so near and so far. Jim brought happiness to you and to us who'll be missed so very much. So treasure all your memories like us and the things you shared together. James Richards, gave many joyful memory's to his family and friends during his time with us on earth. We were blessed with his joy and great humor on our wedding day. He drove  us around in his grand chariot and a wonderful memory we will carry forever! James please keep room in your back seat of your angels Chariot, when we meet again. Your new place of peace and joy is a well deserved honor for a special person such as you. Your family, friend will always remember your joyful humor.

Mr. Richards (as my kids always called him) has been part of our neighborhood for many many years.  He would never pass by without stopping to chat and ask about my son, Danny.  They were good buds for a long time. He would always give Danny encouragement.  Jim will be missed. May the comforts of God be with the family.

Deep sympathy to the Richards family. Although I haven't seen Beej for a long time, I have very good memories. He gave me my first job painting the gas pump islands at the station, and was always good to me. RIP Beej

I lived 2 doors down from the family for several years while attending high school and my mom remained there beyond. Jim was often helpful to my mom during the winters. I have many fond memories of hanging out at the house during summer evenings and parties. Jim was a kind, funny man and I'm very sorry for your loss.
