Jim and I were Master Mind prayer partners for almost 30 years.  We became close friends and participated in a number of different activities together.  In prayer Jim was always seeking to grow his relationship to God.
Jim’s primary interest was his family beginning with Christine and Lexi, both of whom were the loves of his life.  He also cared deeply for his sisters and brother. At one time his sister Jackie was involved in our prayer group.
Jim enjoyed sports.  He and I did several ski weekends and golf weekends together with a group of friends. We also were part of a golf group that met weekly at various courses in Southeast Michigan.  It is no surprise that he excelled in both those sports.  
Jim and I met on a Men’s Weekend for Church of Today, which has become Renaissance Unity.  He and I roomed together and became Master Mind partners.  At various points of time, others became part of our group, but Jim and I were the two members that were in the group from start to finish.  
It was clear to me that Jim did not have a mean bone in his body. He was a kind, caring, loving and compassionate man. I will miss him.

When I think of Jim I think of a kind giving loving husband father and friend to all.  He loved U of M , Golf, working around the yard his Chair.
He loved a good steak beer and a round of golf.  His biggest joy was his  Daughter Lexi  and wife Christine.  Never said a bad word about anyone. Always a willing helper. Neat Organized proud Navy Soldier.  
Family and Friends were his source of joy and focus always .  He was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. He was what we should all strive to be. Humble, kind, simple, available and  giving.  Jim you have left a void in our hearts but and indellable footprint on our souls.  Thank you for touch all who knew you in a profound way that only you possess..  See you soon. We are very sorry for your loss, sending our condolences to you.
I would like to share what a good friend Jimmy was to me and my wife.  we first met when him and i worked together for Gestetner in Anaheim, CA.
Eventually Jimmy worked for me as my Sales Manager and we had many great times together.  I could always count on Spanky to do his job 100%.
All of us who worked together at Gestetner became a family of great friends, many are still friends now.
We nicknamed Jimmy, Spanky because in his younger years he looked like Spanky MacFarland in the Little Rascals.  He loved it and we all cared deeply for Spanky.
Go forward knowing Spanky had many friends which I am proud to say I was on

Jim was like a brother to me growing up.  His family and mine had such a special relationship as neighbors.   It broke my heart when I heard he had taken ill but it breaks my heart even more that he has left this earth.  I am at peace knowing he is in a better place.  Thanks for all the memories Jim.  You will be missed.
