Joe Allen Young, a devoted husband, father, and son passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 40. Joe was the loving husband of Laura Young. The beloved father of Avery, Zachary, and Harper. The caring son of Diane and the late Chuck Young. The dear son-in-law of Herb and Sharol Freiburger and brother-in-law of Jillian Langevin and Lisa Freiburger. Joe is also survived by his adoring nieces and nephews.
Joe was known for his love of the outdoors and working in nature. Though he spent a majority of his career with Target, Joe started a lawn business from the ground up and spent the last few years working for English Gardens. He enjoyed taking trips up north, riding four wheelers, and playing basketball. Above else he loved spending time with his children. Playing, teaching, and watching them grow were some of his proudest moments. His generous and loving nature will be missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Gathering for Joe will take place on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road in Madison Heights from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
