Laura Ann Hawkes passed on April 30, 2026, at the age of 68, and was a resident of Shelby Twp., Michigan. She was born on September 12, 1957, in Royal Oak, Michigan, to the late Bernard and Patricia Dougherty.
Laura was a devoted wife to the late David Hawkes; cherished mother to Jason Hawkes, Heather (Jason) Stauder, and John Hawkes; loving grandmother to Morgan (Sean) Quinn and Jayna Hawkes; dearest sister to Mike (Cathy) Dougherty, Mark (Nancy) Dougherty, Janet Dougherty, Dan (Millie) Dougherty, and Colleen (Mark) Mueller.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
