Ronald Gavino Mangone

Ronald was born on June 25, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Roy and Mary Mangone. He proudly served his country with the United States Navy.

Beloved husband of the late Gloria Mangone; adored father of Ronnie (Michael) Capling, Richard Mangone, and Kimberly Kress (Bob); proud grandfather of Jeffrey (Alyssa) Freeman, Jeremy Freeman, Joshua (Shannon) Freeman, Rikki Mangone, Kelsey Mangone, Mikayla Kress, Mikenzie (Kelly) Mangone, and Gavino Kress; great-grandfather of Teagan, Lucian, Raelynn, Ella, Maisyn, and Lane; dear brother of Dorothy (Mike) Kaltz.

The family will greet guests from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Rd., Madison Heights, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 15 at the above location. Visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Entombment with military honors following at Christian Memorial Gardens West, Rochester Hills.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to the American Heart Association.
