Sharol was a beloved wife to Herbert Freiburger; loving mother to Lisa (Mark) Conforzi, Laura (the late Joe) Young, and Jillian (Chris) Langevin; cherished grandma to Avery, Lucas, Keaton, Zachary, Harper, Ellie, Owen, and Mason; dearest sister to the late John South.
Sharol enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially reading, baking, and shopping in her free time. She adored having her grandchildren around, finding her greatest joy in the laughter and love they brought to her. Sharol also had a special bond with her beloved dog Tobey, who was a constant source of comfort and companionship. Her warmth, love, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial visitation will be held, Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Rd., Madison Heights, MI 48071.
